Conversion of a car repair garage into a an artist studio in Islington.
The emphasis was on making a robust working space with a sense
of the domestic.
We excavated the existing floor slabs to level and increase head height,
installed new drainage systems and installed a polished concrete slab.
Existing linings were stripped out, walls replaced with art gallery specification for hanging work and ceiling insulated and fire rated. A new façade was
installed and an internal screen in meranti timber and glass.
